“BLE Schools” (or “We”) refers to BLE Enterprises and its subsidiaries and Affiliates. An “Affiliate” of BLE Enterprises is any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with BLE Enterprises.
“BLE Schools Program” means a school that offers education programs or services we provide.
“Local School” means the school that contracts with us for a BLE Schools Program.
“Personal Information” (or “PI”) means information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate someone. “Non-PI” refers to information that cannot be used to identify, contact, or locate someone.
“Sites” refers to BLE Schools' websites, including this one.
What laws generally apply to student records?
BLE Schools adheres to laws that protect education records, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and applicable state laws. Other entities can access these records only as permitted by law and if they agree to maintain confidentiality. BLE Schools does not:
